Paul Franks

BACKGROUND

Paul K. Franks has over 30 years of accounting experience in the private industry, national, and local sectors. As a certified public accountant, Mr. Franks has a comprehensive knowledge of financial statement analysis and is an expert at individual and corporate tax law at both the federal and state levels. Mr. Franks is also proficient in applying GAAP principles to auditing engagements and management reports.

As controller at The Feldman Law Firm LLP, Mr. Franks fully engages in accounting and tax functions, as well as human resources. Mr. Franks also leads several critical functions, including financial reporting for banks, internal financial statements, state and federal tax reporting, business advisory services, court testimony and more. In general, Paul K. Franks brings a wealth of financial and accounting knowledge to our Firm.

Prior to serving at The Feldman LLP, Mr. Franks worked at Don. R. Mullens Interests as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Controller where he assessed profitability though analysis of financial statements and ratios, projected real estate cash flows, maintaining banking relationships, monitored performance and projections for real estate assets to forecast market fluctuations, and more.

Some of Mr. Franks’ other previous roles include controller and financial officer at Pollock Electric, Inc., where he was responsible for all accounting and tax functions, assistant controller at Al’s Formal Wear of Houston, Inc., where he was responsible for general ledger and accounts receivable functions, and tax senior at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he prepared individual, corporate and partnership tax returns and developed proactive responses to client proposed transactions.
